Add to that sound the monotony of classroom walls, ceiling, floor— and you see every desk drifting to one side. Even the wall clock has lost its face. But that empty face has replicated itself into thought bubbles that connect to an unpictured daydreamer, or perhaps the memory of the countless daydreamers that used to nod off at the desks.
